Trying to get their employers to compensate them for all the damage that has been done or the pain that they have suffered is sometimes too difficult for them to handle alone. This often brings a company to its knees so it is wise to be covered at all times.

What the experts do is to guide the victim through the court procedures to make sure that they get everything that they are due. They may have to produce medical evidence, from expert witnesses, or bring in experts to explain how the damage will have ongoing effects etc, so that the case will be proved.

Of course, the defense will also have their expert witnesses who will try their best to ensure that the company will not pay too much to the injured party. If they can show that the employee was also negligent in his actions, perhaps not wearing a hard hat when he was in a dangerous area, then some of the blame will be placed on him. Therefore, he may only get a percentage of the full amount which would otherwise have been due to him. This is why everyone needs an expert in the court.
